I've been thinking and saying this for several years, at least. It has always seemed to me a logical, inevitable progression. It is also a GOOD progression. Mobiles will be the true "personal computers" in a way the PC never was, I'm thinking particularly here of the poor in developing countries. They deserve tech as much as anyone in a rich country - and this tech CAN help with the different and pressing real world needs of education, (micro) business, food, shelter etc. It just needs someone to develop the software... Microsoft - really, who on earth cares? Their time is past, it's been writing on the wall for several years. Thank goodness the world will be shot of the bloat, viruses and bad design, and the market abuse. WM will never succeed in any significant way.
