Perhaps it’s a sign that Nimbuzz is doing something right when these sorts of folks stop by to try and talk up their own similar products, like they’ve done on posts about Nimbuzz on lots of other sites.

While Nimbuzz has raised a significant amount of money, you should check out Palringo. They have a mobile client that works on a greater range of devices: symbian, windows mobile, java, blackberry as well as versions for pc and mac. Even better they have something more than just IM–their application allows you to send pictures as well as voice message (voice chat) all within the same application. and the file size is a lot less than 1MB and very little latency.
In my experience, this is a more robust application than Nimbuzz.
