ShoZu is one of my favorite mobile apps of all time, and probably the one I use the most often, as it makes uploading photos from my mobile to my Flickr stream so simple. It’s been great from the get go, but the excellent team over there keeps on making it better and better — and they deserve some kudos for closing a $12 million funding round. Well done!

“as it makes uploading photos from my mobile to my Flickr stream so simple”
Simpler than taking a photo by pressing the photo button and sending an MMS or e-mail?
Just wondering, as many claim simplicity as a reason for using ShoZu, while it’s way easier to just take a photo and send it, than starting a separate application, on most phones. Not supported by Flickr / ShoZu?
Yes, it’s much simpler. ShoZu stays alive in the background so you don’t have to start it each time (at least on smartphones) — after you capture a photo or video, a dialog box asks you if you want to upload it to Flickr/YouTube. Much easier than going through the hassle of creating, addressing and sending an MMS or email.
