doesn't blogger have all those features as well and audio as well. which would make the most sense since you are a blog. i have not used it in some time so i forget the upload process but i think it was sent as a MMS not email.

Why don't you try (trutap m.trutap.com or www.trutap.com). trutap includes photo messaging as well as text & picture uploads to Flickr, Blogger, Blog, Typepad Xanga and any blog that supports email uploads.
Send the same messsage to multiple blogs, photosites and other trutap contacts at the same time. Plus access your MSN, Yahoo, AIM/ICQ IM all from the same app. You can even group message including pictures.
Works on most Java MIDP2 phones and of course it is a free service. Plus more new stuff coming intime for MWC!

The <a href="http://wphoneplugin.org/" rel="nofollow">WPhone Plugin</a> does the job just perfectly on my Wordpress-Install for Symbian60.mobi ! From there on you can tune WP to post directly to YIGG,DIGG,Twitter and virtually any other service i came across so far. And the best thing is: It´s phone-independant and does not need to be installed on any device!

Irakli -- all you say is true, but in my experience the post-via-email function in standalone WP installs really doesn't work very well.

Getting the content eventually onto MH is easy enough, but I'm more interested in standalone or add-on services that offer something more than just mobile Wordpress posting -- for instance, Twitter's hard to beat on ease of use and immediacy, and the ability to use it to send updates to people's mobile phones is nice as well.

afaik Wordpress offers the option to blog via e-mail, alernatively you can moblog to Flickr, which will then automatically post to your WP blog. I've done this for a while and it worked (almost) 100%, although this will require you to upload an image for every post.

E-Mail via mobile should be no problem for you :)

I don't know of any one solution for easy mobile blogging either. But, I would recommend that you use a third solution to automatically bring together your posts on Twitter and Flickr. Yahoo Pipes allows you to combine RSS feeds, filter them and then create one single RSS feed. You could do this by grabbing your RSS feeds from a tag or category in Flickr and your RSS feed from Twitter and combining the two. Then, you can add that outgoing RSS feed to your Mobhappy blog. That's mu suggestion, at least. I'll be curious to see what other ideas are presented.
