Let’s applaud VZW for starting to meet consumer expectations – the right to choose what services they want to access unhindered by their carrier. And, by completing the loop, we can expect an acceleration in development efforts for the mobile web – the internet is about total market access, so for the mobile internet to meet its vast potential, any entity carrying internet access on behalf of its consumers has to provide full access.

Most people in mobile who have tried to work with Verizon would have lots of reasons to be cautious about this announcement. Carlo isn’t being negative, he’s just being realistic.
