Google’s attempts at transcoding websites for mobile viewing have been shocking so far, if they haven’t learnt from that, their ads and browser are going to be worst-of-breed.

I think Mowser and AdMob don’t have anything to worry about yet.

“Who do you think can do a better job”?

You could also rephrase slightly as “Who could possibly do a worse job than mobile operators at anything except keeping wireless voice call networks up and profitably running?”
