If you’ve got it, flaunt it, so they say. And now PixMeTV gives users a way to earn money for showing it all using their mobiles. The company has launched what it calls a “citizen pornography mobile phone movie platform,” effectively allowing users to sell their amateur mobile porn video clips.
Similar to SeeMeTV, a user-gen content service launched by U.K. mobile operator 3, PixMeTV pays content creators every time their clip is downloaded from the website or via WAP by other community members.
Joking aside, this doesn’t seem like it’s got much chance of success, given that there doesn’t seem to be any shortage of free user-generated mobile porn out there.
I’d have to agree with you Carlo, I just can’t see it working. I was interested in who might own it, and it is protected by easyspaceprivacy.com - who basically protect owners from whois lookups.
They’re registered in Glasgow, which of course where the DA group/Yomego who power Peekabootv.com and other client sites using the Iblog software (http://www.yomego.com/iblog.html) are based. Looking at the functionality and design I’d say it’s a DA group license there, although I could of course be wrong, I’m just interested - specifically because the URL is easyspaceprivacy protected.

PixMeTV is run by social media and technology start up company, Disrupt, and more can be learned at http://www.pixmetv.com or via wap.pixmetv.com on a phone. Or text the word pixme to 62866 (25p one off charge. They promise.)
