So, first we have Irakli with a long ball to me on the wing. A great cross, if I do say so myself, to Alfie, who’s shouting “Square ball, square ball, on me ‘ed, my son.” And Alfie only goes and scores.
What a dream result.
If this means nothing to you, I’ll do a little translation for the non-football fans among us.
MobHappy reader, Irakli, wrote and told me on Friday about the group blog he was organising for the fireworkers covering the football World Cup. I blogged about it and suggested that Moblogging UK should do something similar for England fans. Sunday night and it’s up.
Good luck to Moblogging UK and of course, the England team. But they’ll have to play a little more convincingly than they did on Saturday to get anywhere in the tournament. My grandfather would have made more of a contribution than Crouch - and he’s dead. No robot dancing from the big fella this time.
And thanks to Irakli for the inspiration.

My pleasure
Glad to see it’s been picked up. I’m also surprised none of the telcos, media or any big brands have picked this mechanism up yet. Maybe they fear some sort of brand infrigement or other, not. Maybe next time in SA then.
Handset manufacturer? Telco? Create a (pay-for) theme-based time-limited moblog with some sort of incentive. You’ve got the muscle.
