have you used http://grou.ps – they have mobile feature for their groups – its pretty good. A mobile group bloggin can take place in such an activity also!

Similar group blogs? Mobido supports this.

On Mobido you create a tag (tagname@mobido.com) and then anyone can send mobile phone photos there. Mobido tags have a bunch of special features including associating inbound pictures with groups and RSS feeds. There’s also the requisite photostream badge you can drop into a webpage to show the newset photos from selected groups.

I use these group tags for family stuff (kids pics, etc) and others use them for parties, special interest groups, and event promotions.
