Our aim at MobHappy is no less than to provide you with the very best writing about mobile in the world. This means that we’re always on the look out for new talent to join our pool of writers here at MobHappy, or via our associates in the Carnival of the Mobilists.
So we’re delighted to announce that Oliver Starr is joining MobHappy from today, as a regular and valued contributor.
If you’re not from around these parts, Oliver took over The Mobile Weblog when Russell decided to leave in June last year and has grown it impressively ever since, with his own unique insights and views. So when he decided to leave, we were delighted to invite him to join us here.
Oliver’s day job - blogging doesn’t pay the bills, sadly! - is split between Executive in Residence at Angel Strategies, a Venture Capital Fund, and CTO of Hello, Inc. We hope that this real world experience, in combination with Oliver’s proven insight into all things mobile, will bring new depths to MobHappy and that our readers will enjoy our writing even more.
Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for reading MobHappy.
Russell & Carlo

WAW, that’s what I call a good move. If Mobhappy isn’t one of the best mobile blogs yet, with such writers hopping together here, this is gonna be the best mobile blog soon, no doubt. Congratulations and good luck with the new blog software!

Oliver proposes a ‚Äúsmack-down‚Äù by consumers, which means you and me along with everybody who uses a mobile phone. The post describes a looming problem and suggests some answers. I was glad I read it as useful background for the 2006 life of mobilist. This post reflected some good news that kick-off 2006: Oliver Starr joined MobHappy from the Mobile Weblog. On behalf of the MobHappy team: WELCOME OLIVER! […]
